If you create on-demand bots with POST /v2/bots, joining now starts sooner for Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and web-based Zoom meetings: an always-ready pool of bots picks up new requests immediately instead of starting one from scratch. If you read transcripts, quiet stretches no longer produce lines from a speaker named Unknown, so transcripts stay clean. There are no changes to the API, requests, responses or webhooks, and no action is needed.

⚡Improvements

• On-demand Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and web-Zoom bots now start joining sooner. A new request is picked up right away by an already-running bot that is waiting to join, instead of first starting a new bot process. Scheduled and calendar bots join exactly as before.

🐛Bug Fixes

• Transcripts no longer contain utterances from an Unknown speaker for speech the bot could not attribute to a participant — phrases like a stray sentence in the middle of a long silence, previously labeled Unknown, are now omitted from the transcript. All attributed speech is unchanged.
